An arrival city and a base near lakes or mountains can be enough. Make time for walks and choose excursions for fitness level and weather.

Seven days: two bases

An arrival city and a base near lakes or mountains can be enough. Make time for walks and choose excursions for fitness level and weather.

Ten days: more time, not necessarily more hotels

Add exploration days from each base or include a third when connections make sense. More time need not mean more hotel changes.

Fourteen days: contrast and downtime

Combine cities, lakes and mountains with less structured days. Design the sequence around flights and preserve flexibility for outdoor activities.

What changes with children

Ages, energy, food, excursion duration and accessibility. Before choosing a transport product or pass, compare how it will be used on your actual route.

The design principle

An excursion can be optional. A weather alternative protects the experience without forcing an activity simply because it was on a list.

Turn the idea into your journey.

Share your dates, travelers and priorities. The design begins with that conversation.
